Released during the covid-19 pandemic, “Escapism” is a concept EP spanning a days work, ever repeating itself.

“"Escapism" began as an idea in my head whilst at my 9-5 office job. I wanted to escape and write more music so I started noting ideas down on at my desk. Initially with a brief concept outline, I wanted to try structure songs to 'sound' like my day-to-day life, eventually settling on this concept.

1. The morning. Waking up and beginning the daily routine most of us have.

2. The journey to the workplace, a departure from music and where I make it. Eventually arriving at the office.

3. Being overwhelmed by office noise and chatter, retreating to my thoughts and daydreaming about music to help.

4. The fast journey home. A triumphant feeling as another day of work is finished."“
